Youth Union of the Viet Nam Institute of Strategy and Policy for Industry and Trade Visits the Vietnam Military History Museum

On March 24, 2026, the Youth Union of the Viet Nam Institute of Strategy and Policy for Industry and Trade (VIOIT) organized a field visit and educational program at the Vietnam Military History Museum, located on Thang Long Avenue, Hanoi.

The program was attended by members of the Youth Union Executive Committee, along with a large number of union members and young staff of the Institute.

This meaningful and practical activity was held in celebration of Vietnam Youth Month and to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2026). It also aimed to promote patriotic education, foster national pride, and enhance political awareness among union members and young professionals at the Institute.

The visit provided participants with valuable insights into Vietnam’s historical struggles for national liberation and defense, while also strengthening internal cohesion and engagement among members.

At the museum, the delegation was introduced to an overview of the formation and development of the Vietnam People’s Army across different historical periods. The exhibits, curated in a systematic and visually compelling manner, vividly reconstruct key milestones in the nation’s resistance wars against foreign aggression.

Particular attention was drawn to the exhibitions on the resistance wars against French colonial rule and American involvement. Rare artifacts, archival photographs, and historical documents evoked profound reflection, enabling participants to further appreciate the enduring value of peace and national independence.

The outdoor exhibition area, featuring military hardware such as tanks, aircraft, and anti-aircraft artillery, also captured significant interest. Direct observation of these artifacts offered participants a more tangible and immersive understanding of the nation’s heroic past.

Overall, the program contributed to nurturing revolutionary ideals and strengthening the sense of responsibility among young people in the cause of national construction and defense. It also reaffirmed the pivotal role of the Youth Union in political and ideological education.

The visit left a lasting positive impression, helping to further inspire the dynamism, creativity, and pioneering spirit of VIOIT’s youth members, and contributing to the continued strengthening of the Youth Union organization.
